The DimOrdinate command can be used to dimension the X or Y coordinates of a point.


How to Create a Coordinate Dimension:

  1. Click on Dimension > Ordinate on the Ribbon.

  1. Enter DIMORDINATE in the command window.
  2. In the graphics area, define the Point to be dimensioned.
  3. Define the Position of the dimension in the graphics area.

    Enter one of the following options in the Command window:
    X-Datum: Specifies that the X coordinate is measured.
    Y-Datum: Specifies that the Y coordinate is measured.
    Set_Zero: The specified position is used as the base point for further coordinate dimensions that are created with the Use Reference option.
    Use_Reference: The X and Y coordinates are measured in relation to the specified base point.
