Creating a Ordinate Dimension
The DimOrdinate command can be used to dimension the X or Y coordinates of a point.
How to Create a Coordinate Dimension:
- Click on Dimension > Ordinate
on the Ribbon.
or
- Enter DIMORDINATE in the command window.
- In the graphics area, define the Point to be dimensioned.
- Define the Position of the dimension in the graphics area.
or
Enter one of the following options in the Command window:
X-Datum: Specifies that the X coordinate is measured.
Y-Datum: Specifies that the Y coordinate is measured.
Set_Zero: The specified position is used as the base point for further coordinate dimensions that are created with the Use Reference option.
Use_Reference: The X and Y coordinates are measured in relation to the specified base point.
