How to create a new user coordinate system (UCS):

  1. Click on View > 3P on the Ribbon.

or

  1. a) Enter UCS in the command window.
    b) Enter new in the command window.
    c) Enter 3P in the command window.
  2. Define the new origin point.
  3. Define a point on the positive X-axis.
  4. Define a point on the positive XY plane.
