Use the Subtract command to compute the difference between 3D Solids.

The command can also be used with regions.


How to make the difference between 3D Solids:

  1. Click on 3D Solid > Subtract on the Ribbon.

or

  1. Enter SUBTRACT in the command window.
  2. In the graphics area, select the solids from which you want to subtract.
  3. Press Enter to complete the selection.
  4. In the graphics area, select the solids that is to be subtracted.
  5. Press Enter to complete the selection and exit the command.
