You can use the Chamfer command to chamfer the corner of two lines so that a beveled corner is created.


How to chamfer two lines:

  1. Click on Modify > Chamfer on the Ribbon.

or

  1. Enter CHAMFER in the command window.
  2. In the graphics area, select the first line to be chamfered.
    or
    Enter one of the following options in the Command window:
    Angle: Allows you to enter a chamfer length and a chamfer angle starting from the first line.
    Distance: Enables the entry of chamfer distance 1 and 2.
    Trim mode: If trim mode is active, line segments behind the chamfer are deleted.
    Multiple: If Multiple is active, several chamfers can be carried out one after the other.
  3. In the graphics area, select the second line to be chamfered.
