With the Copy command you create a copy of the selected drawing elements and position the copy at a new location in the coordinate system.


How to copy drawing elements specifying the base and target point:

  1. Click on Modify > Copy on the Ribbon.

or

  1. Enter COPY in the command window.
  2. Select one or more drawing elements in the graphics area.
  3. Press Enter to complete your selection.
  4. Define a base point for the displacement.
  5. Define a target point for the displacement.
  6. Repeat step 5 to place additional copies.
  7. Press Enter to end the command


How to copy drawing elements specifying a displacement vector:

  1. Click on Modify > Copy on the Ribbon.

or

  1. Enter COPY in the command window.
  2. Select one or more drawing elements in the graphics area.
  3. Press Enter to complete your selection.
  4. Enter Displacement in the command window.
  5. Enter the numeric values for the displacement vector in the Command window.
    Sample input: 10.15.4 for a shift of 10 units in the X direction and 15.4 units in the Y direction and 0 units in the Z direction.
  6. Repeat step 5 to place additional copies.
  7. Press Enter to end the command.
