You can use the Shell command to create a 3D Solid with wall thickness.


How to create a 3D solid with a wall thickness:

  1. Click on 3D Solid > Shell on the Ribbon.

or

  1. Enter SHELL in the command window.
  2. Select a 3D Solid in the graphics area.
  3. In the graphics area, select the surfaces of the solid that are to be removed.
  4. Press Enter to complete the selection.
  5. Enter a numeric value for the Wall thickness in the command window.
