To create an Ellipse specifying the center and the two radii:

  1. Click on Draw > Ellipse center on the Ribbon.

  1. a) Enter ELLIPSE in the command window.
    b) Enter Center in the command window.
  2. Specify the center of the ellipse.
  3. Specify the end point of the first axis.
    This determines the radius of the first axis.
  4. Enter a numeric value for the radius of the second axis.


To create an Ellipse specifying the first axis and the radius of the second axis:

  1. Click on Draw > Ellipse Axis on the Ribbon.

or

  1. Enter ELLIPSE in the command window.
  2. Specify the start point of the first axis.
  3. Specify the end point of the first axis.
  4. Enter a numeric value for the radius of the second axis.


How to create an Elliptical arc:

  1. Click on Draw > Elliptical Arc on the Ribbon.

or

  1. a) Enter ELLIPSE in the command window.
    b) Enter Arc in the command window.
  2. Specify the start point of the first axis.
  3. Specify the end point of the first axis.
  4. Enter a numeric value for the radius of the second axis.
  5. Enter a numeric value for the start angle.
  6. Enter a numeric value for the end angle.
