With the Divide command you can delete a section of a drawing element between 2 points.


How to delete a section from a drawing element:

  1. Click on Modify > Split 2P on the Ribbon.

or

  1. Enter DIVIDE in the command window.
  2. In the graphics area, select the drawing element to be divided.
  3. In the graphics area, specify a first division point on the drawing element.
  4. In the graphics area, specify a second division point on the drawing element.


How to split a drawing element into two drawing elements at one point:

  1. Click on Modify > Split 1P on the Ribbon.
  1. In the graphics area, select the drawing element to be divided.
  2. In the graphics area, specify the division point on the drawing element.
