With the Extend command, you can extend drawing elements so that they end at a boundary line.


How to extend drawing elements:

  1. Click on Modify > Extend on the Ribbon.

or

  1. Enter EXTEND in the command window.
  2. In the graphics area, select drawing elements to make up the cutting edge.
  3. Press Enter to complete your selection.
  4. In the graphics area, select the drawing elements that you want to trim.
    or
    Enter Trim in the Command window to switch to Trim mode.
  5. Press Enter to end the command.
