With the Trim command you can shorten drawing elements so that they end at a boundary line.


How to trim drawing elements:

  1. Click on Modify > Trim on the Ribbon.

or

  1. Enter TRIM in the command window.
  2. In the graphics area, select drawing elements to make up the cutting edge.
  3. Press Enter to complete your selection.
  4. In the graphics area, select the drawing elements that you want to trim. Click on the side you want to trim.
    or
    Enter Extend in the Command window to switch to Extend mode.
  5. Press Enter to end the command.
